Many insights come to mind upon remembering Brother Joenee's inspirational and well-delivered talk. One of which is that, work is a vital ingredient in our mortal probation. For work is accompanied with hardships and struggles - factors that would definitely stretch us up to our limits or better beyond it. I love the part where he mentioned the example of a chrysalis, a young and delicate butterfly coming out from a hard cocoon. The butterfly would live if it comes out by itself but when someone intervenes to help it get out during the process, the lovely creature instantly dies. Relating to our lives, we must too go through pain and suffering that by so doing a natural love and appreciation for the work we did comes out naturally. The talk also taught me that to become successful in life involves knowing and discovering our true selves.
Our 1st week stay in the Academy, the food is Great! the curriculum i must say is comprehensive enough to let all of us with or without business experiences get gradually acquainted with the world of business. The manner the curriculum was presented by well-learned teachers allowed us to think outside the box and encourage us further to get out from our comfort zones. No doubt, the discussions were brain-stimulating and very informative. Every second counts in the academy that is why I also appreciate the manner they have controlled our schedule. In the way, we would know how to work efficiently and effectively. With all these in mind, I cannot help but anticipate that there are still more that's in-store for us in the academy. Needless to say now, that the effort was all worth the experience.
